Genesis Project

The Cord created the Genesis Project: an overarching plan for the creation and terraformation of Orīrī. It involved Interfacing technology, which allowed appointed scientists (and eventually citizens of Orīrī) to monitor the progress of infrastructure and ensure that life flourished in their new home. It focused on the repopulation of Orīrī and the preservation of Alronian history and culture, allowing the Cord to create a new utopia. Ultimately, this failed when the Edge Sea finally collapsed, having accelerated at an unexpected rate.

There are many sections and small sub-sections of the Genesis Project; this can all be accessed with interfacing technology in appropriate infrastructure.

Archivist

Archivist is only partially complete thanks to the Edge Sea's sudden collapse. Important things that were transferred first, such as mathematics, sciences and backup logs for repair crews, are all present in full (for the most part). But, "unimportant" subject matter, such as art, music and philosophy, are only present in small bits and pieces or missing entirely.

Ecology

Containing both Embryonics and Floral-Growth, Ecology is tied to the Mother Trees, and thus Selene Mannix.

Embryonics was the sub-section of the Genesis Project meant to preserve and recreate life. At least, that was Dexton's expectations. In reality, Mannix used the sub-section as her own personal playground to satisfy her god-complex. It is missing a significant portion of Edge Sea DNA as the scientists were unable to gather everything before the collapse. These facilities are also equipped to raise new life - with robotic extensions ready to be taken over by the AI and storing parts of Archivist to educate children.

Floral-Growth focuses on plants. Mannix tampered with this section less, wanting to see how the world developed without her intervention. Though, she did program in one flower: Sunflowers, her favourite flower. She ensured all terraforming facilities had Sunflowers in their database, wanting to see them blooming all across the new world.

Inheritors

Inheritors is the cryostasis program haphazardly designed to keep members of the Cord alive until they can be woken up and witness the new world. These facilities were stored within Mother Trees and were intended to be activated when the first batch of sapient embryos were being produced - they did not activate.

Atmosphere

Designed to foster an atmosphere that resembles Alrone's in order for new life to thrive on the planet. Once Atmosphere has completed its task, it is meant to contact Ecology so that it may start its.

Hydrosphere

The Hydrosphere was designed to foster an oceanic environment that supported life, as well as work with Atmosphere to create a functioning weather system.

Seeding

Seeding was responsible for extending the Cord into the Prime Nexus and was one of the first facilities to be activated. Seeding continues to monitor and maintain magic within the Prime Nexus - though it has diverted from its original programming and created a larger, sturdier Cord than the one in the Edge Sea. This has caused the density between planes to increase, and is the reason that souls separate from bodies when crossing between planes.
